The start of 2009 sees Britain’s seaside resorts including Bournemouth and Scarborough set to make a comeback.
TripAdvisor today revealed that budget-conscious travellers are reverting back to the Great British Seaside holiday.

Luke Fredberg who is a TripAdvisor spokesman, said: “When it comes to finding a true bargain, Britain’s seaside towns have far more to offer the discerning traveller than great fish and chips.”
“Nobody does Bed & Breakfasts like the British and whilst ones in more rural settings have an unrivalled charm, urban and seaside Bed & Breakfasts are set for success in 2009 as travellers seek great value.”
The TripAdvisor listings revealed awards for the following categories: Best Bargains, Best for Families, Best Hidden Gems, Best Inns & B&Bs, Best for Romance, Best Luxury Hotel and Best Brand.
