‘Get a Better Job’ event at The Royal Hotel

Following on from the success of last weeks ‘Fit or Forfeit’ The Royal Hotel in Scarborough has once again teamed up with Yorkshire Coast Radio.
Yesterday the local radio station held their first ever ‘Get a Better Job’ day that took place at The Royal Hotel. The event ran from 12 noon and finished at around 7.00pm.
Throughout the day a large number of local people visited the Scarborough hotel in order to find out more information about various job opportunities and to gain valuable career advice.
A range of local attractions, recruitment agencies and colleges had stands in the Cavalier Suite including Tyro, Coast and Moors Voluntary Action, Yorkshire Coast College, Job Centre Plus, YH Training Services, Castle Employment Agency, East Riding College and Scarborough Sealife Centre, where guests who are staying at our Scarborough hotels can receive discounted tickets for.
The whole day was seen as a success by all concerned due to the amount of people that took an interest and visited the exhibition stands throughout the day.
